Project Proposal Guidelines

Have an awesome idea for your community garden plot? Want to put on film screenings in Sunnyside? Need some cash for a studio or band practice space? If you’re an artist, musician, filmmaker, photographer, thinker, concerned citizen, or an organization, we encourage you to submit a project proposal. No idea is too large, no medium is too daring.

Project Proposal Guidelines

In your project proposal, please include: the title of your project, where it is taking place, the time frame for completion, a brief (250 words max.) project summary, and any images, videos, or URLs.

And answer the following questions:
  •  What will you be able to show us at the next SUPPER event (approximately 3 months away)?
  •  How will you use the money? Give us a rough breakdown of costs. If the project will cost more than the projected $1,000 grant, explain how you will cover the remaining expenses.
  • How will your project serve the Flagstaff community?

Finally, if applicable address the following:
  • Erecting any work on city-owned property must be pre-approved by the city of Flagstaff Beautification and Public Art Commission (BPAC). If your proposed project includes the use of city-owned land, please include a back-up plan that uses privately owned land instead. If your project receives funding, we will work closely with you and BPAC to try to get your project approved for construction on public property.
